About JB Institute of Technology (JBIT)

 JB Institute of Technology was founded in the year 2009. It is located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. The college is affiliated with UTU (Uttarakhand Technical University), and UBTER (Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee). JBIT also has approval from AICTE and the Ministry of HRD, New Delhi.

Full-time diploma, undergraduate, and graduate programs in business administration and engineering are offered by JBIT Dehradun. Courses offered by JBIT Dehradun include MBA, B.Tech, M.Tech, and diploma programs in computer science and engineering. The closest train station is located 23 km from the campus, and it takes about 52 minutes to get there from the Dehradun Railway Station. The NH 72 Bus Stand, which is 3.9 kilometers from the campus, is the closest bus stop.

The JB Institute of Technology Dehradun provides approximately 11 full-time courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and diploma levels. JBIT Dehradun offers courses in engineering diploma, B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA. The college offers a 3-year diploma program in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. B.tech courses offered by JBIT are Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. PG courses include M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering and MBA.

 JB Institute of Technology offers a specialized training and placement cell to assist students in landing jobs at prestigious companies. The placement cell at JBIT Dehradun offers a range of activities, including aptitude training, presentations, personality development sessions, mock interviews, and pre-placement talks, to help students excel in the recruitment process.

Interviews with different corporates are arranged for final-year students by the JBIT placement department. JBIT Dehradun offers both on-campus and off-campus placement processes, giving students lots of chances to plan for the future.

Students are eligible for campus placements following their sixth semester. Many other companies, like Tech Mahindra, TCS, and Wipro, offer placements. Twelve lacks a year is the highest package. Approximately 60% of students are placed.
